Projects On-Going

  1. Apply for USFWS science research permit.

Projects Completed

  1. Test ultrasound control of Lyngbya sp. with University of Florida - Rainbow River system. - completed.
  2. Acquire equipment and software for in field measurement of ultrasound emissions - completed.

Projects for Funding upon Board Approval

  1. Restore spring flows to South Kings Bay (see Restoration section) [estimated $ ].
  2. Aquire equipment as advised by The Springs Initiative to record waters samples with respect to salinty (Specific Conductance), PH, temperature, flow rate, clarity etc., within the abilities of local community groups to undertake.
  3. Remove accumulated much from selected areas of Kings Bay and observe fish repopulation.
  4. Verify no acoustic harassment to manatee by ultrasound emissions,
