Three Sisters Land Acquisition Ceded

Three Sisters Springs preservation as a natural Florida springs environment housing purpose designed centers of instruction and exhibition to inform visitors of local wildlife species, their habitat and ecological preservation issues. Both permanent and temporary exhibits will be accommodated in a building complex adjacent to the springs with an observation tower to view manatees using the springs as thermal refuge. A reception area, auditorium, gift shop and restaurant will be in another complex accessed from a car park area and crossing a foot bridge over Lake Linda. Kayak facilities will be made available.

Vegetated areas will employ native plants to recreate authentic areas of Floridian hardwood hammock and freshwater marsh with birding and walking trails.

Dependent upon site land acquisition.
